JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Maintenance Manager at HELI, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of aerial work platforms and lifting equipment in our rental fleet. You will lead a team responsible for workshop repairs, a service team for rental operations, and a spare parts warehouse. Additionally, you will play a key role in our equipment replacement program, maintaining close relationships with suppliers. As a technical manager, you will also oversee the aftersales department, ensuring proper follow-up on maintenance and repairs for customer equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Coordination: Lead and support the technical teams, ensuring smooth collaboration between departments to meet operational goals.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Asset Management: Oversee the rental fleet renewal program. You will evaluate technical performance, age, and costs of different brands and determine, together with the BU Manager Rental & Sales, which machines need replacement each year.
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
- Budget Management: Manage the department’s budget and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. You will also be responsible for revenue from aftersales activities and spare parts sales.
- Innovation & Sustainability: Identify and implement technological innovations and sustainable solutions to continuously improve processes and services.
- Management: As part of HELI’s management team, you will contribute to the company’s strategy and represent the company to clients, suppliers, and business units within the group. You will have the freedom to develop your own ideas, as HELI values employee-driven initiatives.
PROFILE

- You have analytical skills and are proficient in common office software.
- You have strong leadership & management skills with experience in leading technical teams.
- You have extensive knowledge of technical processes & maintenance strategies.
- You have experience with asset management and process improvement.
- You take responsibility for your work and support your team.
- You are a true team player and committed to your colleagues.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
