Layher® enters into a training partnership with Heli Safety Academy
Layher is the world's leading supplier and producer of innovative and smart scaffolding systems. The company has been working with the Heli Safety Academy, our training centre, since 11 December. The goal is to train Layher customers to the level of ‘Gebruiker steigerbouw volgens AV-021’ ('User scaffold erecting according to AV-021').
A scaffold does not erect itself. Builders need to complete a training course before they are competent to erect and disassemble scaffolding. Heli Safety Academy is certified as a training centre for providing AV-021 training for scaffold erectors. This type of professional training is a profession in itself, and Layher's confidence is proof that the Heli Safety Academy is good at it.
Our training on how to erect scaffolding in a safe and purpose-oriented way focuses on a combination of safety and expertise. The trainees learn all the safety rules required for scaffolding erection, modification and disassembly. They conclude the day course with both a theoretical and a practical exam. Those who pass will go home with a BeSaCC diploma.
