Use of machinery on public roads

News detail sample

In recent months, we regularly received fines and police warnings about the use of our machines on public roads.
We have checked with the federal police and the following rule applies to the entire country. Here is the answer we received:

In principle, a machine can be used on the public road when it's technically inspected and therefore has license plates. That is why we always ask to apply for a permit. This permit privatizes public roads, this way machines can be used with or without a license plate. Legally, privatizations of the public road need to be demarcated.

So we ask our clients to always obtain a permit to use devices on public roads and to demarcate the machine.

To meet the stricter regulations, we will equip more machines with license plates.

In the event we receive a fine or an invoice for the towing of a vehicle, the costs will be charged to the customer.
