Compact safety lines due to the elastic fiber
The LSE is a safety line consisting of a band of rigid polyester fiber woven on a core of elastic fiber. This elastic fiber has stretching properties that allow the safety line to stretch up to one-third of its compressed length. This gives the LSE the advantage of being more compact and therefore more comfortable to use, compared to standard safety lines.
The outer webbing, made of polyester fibers woven onto a core of elastic fibers, gives the LSE excellent abrasion and cut resistance when it comes into contact with a sharp edge.
Use LSE lines for area boundary work
LSE safety lines are used to prevent the user from entering a fall hazard zone (area-limiting work). These lines are a connecting element between the harness and the anchor point without a fall arrest system (fall arrestor). These lines should never stop a fall. The length must be chosen so that the user cannot fall in any way.
