Tractel's latest innovation in automatic fall protection. A simple and proven mechanism for optimal operation and maintenance. In the event of a fall, the ESD system ensures that the impact on the user is less than 600 daN. Even if the user falls when the steel wire is unwound.
The Blocfor 20 EVO ESD is:
- An automatic fall arrest device
- With 20 meters of steel wire made in:
- Galvanized steel,
- STAINLESS STEEL,
- Or synthetic rope.
- Equipped with our ESD (Extremity System Dissipator) absorption system.
- Suitable for users weighing up to 150kg.
- Works in both vertical and horizontal applications (certification for working at edges).
Blocfor 20 fall arrester features:

- Lightweight thanks to plastic housing.
- Flexible in use. Proven mechanism prevents unintentional locking of the system.

The Blocfor 20 EVO ESD fall protection can be used:
- For users weighing up to 150 kg including their equipment. Certified according to PPE-R/11.062 "fall arrester with a capacity of more than 100kg",
- For vertical application with an angle up to 20° to the perpendicular of the anchor point.
- For horizontal application with edges with a radius of more than 0.5 mm, only for the version with galvanized and synthetic rope. Certified according to PPE-R/11.060 "horizontal use".
Connector
Galvanized and synthetic connectors.
M24 double locking at the top and M47 automatic locking with locking pin on the absorber.
Steel connectors
M10 manual connector in stainless steel at both ends. With an integrated locking pin on the absorber end.
