This modern Manitou diesel articulated boom lift allows you to work at a height of 28 metres. The Manitou 280TJ is a machine that gives you that bit extra horizontal reach, 21.45 metres!
Its jib-arm offers you extra possibilities when working on roofs – it can extend to 4 metres in length. And that allows you to descend over a roof peak.
The machine is equipped with locking swing-axles. It is extremely stable on uneven ground, even when used at great heights. The Manitou 280TJ has a variety of steering modes and can even move crabwise, i.e. diagonally. You choose the steering option. In addition, all movements have proportional control, and the 2.30 m x 0.90 m cage has the highest payload capacity of machines in this category, 350 kg. You can close off the control panel to ensure safety on site.
The Manitou 280TJ is often used for inspections under bridges, on tall silos and for painting jobs that require long horizontal outreach over a hedge or wall. And the machine's relatively low weight, 16,500 kg, can be an advantage.
